Springtime Distiller Water Test Results as provided by Enviro-Test Laboratories:

Big Iron Drilling Inc. retained Enviro-Test Laboratories of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada to test Springtimes removal of high concentrations of 36 organics (25 of which were volatile) from the E.P.A. Priority Pollutant list.

Amazingly, the results showed 31 of the 36 were non-detectable; 4 volatile organics, although detectable, all had removal over 99%: 1 organic, Aroclor 1260, had 96% removal. No Carbon Filter was Used.

Summary of Study:
Approximately 65 litres (17 U.S. gallons) of deionized water was put into a fiberglass tank. The tank included an inlet to pressurize the tank to 60psi with compressed air and an outlet connected to a Springtime Model No.12 supplied by Big Iron Drilling. Chemicals were added to the tank, the system was pressurized and product water was collected. To ensure compatibility of chemicals in the raw water, spiking and product water collection were performed in a series of 3 seperate runs. Two runs were made to collect samples for analyses of volatile organics. On one of the two runs your carbon prefilter was attached to the distiller feed line, and another was done without the filter. Analyses were conducted on the product water using Environment Canada and United States E.P.A. described methodologies. Instrumentation used in the testing procedures included inductively coupled plasma spectrometry (ICP), atomic absorption spectrometry and gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GS/MS).
