OUR COMPANY HISTORY:
Big Iron Drilling was founded by a father and son team, George Field ( 1906 - 2003 ) and son Ray, both of whom have been directly involved in the water supply industry since 1957.
 |
The business started in 1957, in the basement of the family home where a simple manual water softener was designed and assembled for distribution to farmers without running water. |
Ray is still fully active in the Company as is Ray's son George. They have always attributed Big Iron's success to the high caliber of personnel working with the Company. "We are fortunate to have the best people in the business," claims Ray Field, Manager of Big Iron. "That, combined with a stubborn determination to be more creative and sensibly divergent than our competitors, has been the secret of our success. "The future of the domestic water purification industry lies in water distillers," says Mr. Field. "Although reverse osmosis and deionization have made significant contributions in the past, they cannot touch a properly designed distiller for quality of water and practicability. The marketplace is screaming for a sound, sellable, economical water distiller. We have it in the Springtime Distiller."
The Company has successful operations in both the U.S.A and Canada, with its International profile growing quickly as well. It manufactures and distributes the:
